PS. The Line Branding
A client approached me to develop the brand identity for her online apparel boutique, seeking a look that was simple, modern, and sophisticated. Through a detailed brand questionnaire, I gained valuable insights into her vision and crafted a creative direction that embodies a sexy, refined, and minimalist aesthetic. My aim was to create a brand that resonated with the target audience, exuding beauty, boldness, and modernity.
To bring this vision to life, I designed a distinct, minimal, and modern logomark. I curated a neutral color palette with bold contrasting accents for a touch of subtle boldness. The brand assets I developed included an e-commerce Shopify website, social media visuals, hang tags, and a complete unboxing experience with custom packaging and a thank you card. My goal was to ensure a seamless and delightful customer experience.
Creative Direction
The first step of the branding process was to understand the client's desired mood and craft a creative direction for the project. I provided a comprehensive brand questionnaire to uncover the visual aesthetic she envisioned. Analyzing her responses, I concluded that she wanted a brand that made her target audience feel sexy, beautiful, confident, calm, and relaxed, all within a refined, modern, and simple aesthetic.
Based on these insights, I developed the following mood board:
Creative Strategy:
Logomark: I designed a bold, simple, and clean logomark to establish a strong and elegant brand identity.
Textures: Neutral fabric textures were utilized to evoke a sexy and sophisticated vibe.
Color Palette: A neutral and calming color palette was curated, with dark contrast colors added for subtle boldness.
Photography: Sexy and relaxed photography was selected to further enhance the brand’s aesthetic.
This comprehensive approach ensured that the brand would resonate deeply with its target audience, making them feel confident and beautiful in a calm, refined, and modern setting.
